Built with love; today it offers a picturesque and enchanting location for future wedding couples looking for a unique venue to host their very special day.

Outdoor Ceremonies

If it is an outdoor ceremony you have been dreaming of, we have a number beautiful outdoor options available to you at Ballykealey House. The Lawn under the 300 year old tulip tree (one a a few in Ireland), nestled in the woodlands we have an intimate space under the canopy of trees or the Fountain a wonderful setting with your guests surrounding you.

Angela will help you pick you pick your perfect setting, advise you on choosing a solemniser, registrar or celebrant and give you details of the local churches.

Indoor Ceremonies

The new barnyard just opened in 2021 it is a traditional barnyard with the original stone walls and high ceilings a wonderful setting. In the elegant manor house, we have two options for a ceremony depending on numbers. We have our stunning Oak room with original Tudor architecture or our Sarah Lucia Suite with views of the stunning woodland in the foreground. Both options offer the perfect setting for your ceremony.

Ballykealey has been inspected and approved by the district registrar as civil ceremony venue however each couple must apply individually for their own license. Details how to apply for a civil marriage can be found on the Citizens Information website.
