Our wedding at Ballykealey House on 26 September 2026 was everything we could have hoped for and so much more. For two unforgettable days, we celebrated with the people we love most in a place that felt truly magical, and we will always be grateful that Ballykealey House was the setting for such a precious chapter of our lives.

Ballykealey House was the very first wedding venue we viewed, and we knew straight away that nothing else would beat it. There was just something about the place that felt right, and we could already picture ourselves getting married there. Now, looking back, we’re so grateful we trusted that feeling.

The staff at Ballykealey house went above and beyond for us in every way. Their professionalism and organisation made sure our day went perfectly.
What we particularly loved was how easy-going everyone was. We never felt stressed or under pressure, and the team were so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process.

It is extremely difficult to put into words just how incredibly grateful we are to the entire team at Ballykealey House. From the very beginning of the planning process right through to our wedding day, everything was simply perfect. The venue is absolutely stunning. The beautifully maintained grounds, with their mature plants and flowers, fountain, forest and swing, are simply gorgeous and perfect for pictures.

From our very first call with Angela, who FaceTimed us so we could see every inch of the venue, we knew Ballykealey was the place for us.
Living in Australia, we thought planning a wedding in Ireland would be a nightmare, but Ballykealey made it effortless. Nothing was ever too much to ask or organise.

Ballykealey was an absolutely incredible wedding venue, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We knew from the moment we drove through the gates for our first viewing that it was the venue for us. It is such a beautiful and special place, and one of the things we loved most was the amount of choice it offered, particularly when it came to the ceremony.

Ballykealey exceeded all of our exceptions as a wedding venue. From the moment we set foot in the building we were welcomed with a warm presence from all of the staff. Richael walked us through the venue and we were sold! Throughout the lead up to the wedding, Richael, Angela, Alison, Luke and all of the wedding team helped us with every question and query. There was no silly question and communication was brilliant.

Ballykealey House, thank you for giving us the most amazing day, it was just brilliant. From the moment we stepped in Ballykealey House we just knew it had something special about it, from the stunning building to the beautiful grounds, the woodlands and gorgeous room for dinner it stood out for all these reasons but the main thing that stood out was the staff.

Both my husband and I got married in Ballykealey House on 24.07.26, and from start to finish it was exceptional! The staff are so attentive, we felt like royalty! From the moment our wedding car drove up the driveway, the staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we were looked after, from bringing in our bags to getting us a welcome drink.

Walking around the beautiful manor and stunning grounds, imagining our own wedding day there, we could immediately picture how special it would be. There was a feeling about the place that is hard to put into words, but we knew that Ballykealey House had the potential to make our wedding day truly magical — and it absolutely did.

From the very beginning, everyone at Ballykealey was incredibly warm, caring and helpful. Richael was fantastic in the lead-up to the wedding, always on hand to answer our questions and help with any last-minute details, which made the whole process feel so easy and reassuring.

From the very first day when Brian welcomed us and gave us our tour, we couldn’t help but fall in love with Ballykealey House, we knew it was special. The beautiful house and gardens was the perfect setting for what we were looking for. So much so that even though Ballykealey House was the only venue we had viewed, we knew it was for us and so we booked it that very day.

From the first time we visited Ballykealey both of us remember the hospitality and time given to us being shown around the property and grounds. We decided after that first visit to book our wedding reception and day 2 at the location.

Ballykealey House was our dream wedding venue. All the staff were always so helpful especially our wedding coordinator Richael, head chef James, Banqueting manager Wesley, Lashika whom was so good to help us organise accommodation for our guests, and Orla who assisted us on the day itself.

A massive thank you to each and every single person in Ballykealey House! You all made our wedding the most spectacular 3 day event that we wished for!

From the moment we said “yes” to Ballykealey, it felt like a dream come true. We didn’t just fall in love with the venue, we fell in love with the people behind it. Every meeting, every little detail, and every dinner in between gave us the chance to really get to know the incredible team, and they made the whole journey just as special as the wedding day itself.

It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are to everyone at Ballykealey House for giving us the most incredible wedding day. Long before we were even engaged, I came across Ballykealey House on TikTok and instantly knew that was the venue. There was just something so special about it. I fell in love with the bright, elegant dining room with its stunning window overlooking the fountain and beautiful grounds, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

From the moment we first visited Ballykealey House, we knew it was special. The venue itself is stunning, especially the fountain area, woodland walk and banquet room, which are perfect for wedding photos both during the day and at night.

We got married at Ballykealey House on February 6th, 2026, and it was truly the happiest day of our lives. The team went above and beyond, letting us set up the day before and stay overnight since there was no event, it made the wedding day feel completely effortless.

Just a quick note from William and I, I honestly cannot express to you enough how grateful we are that we chose Ballykealey House as our wedding venue. We had been to a wedding there previously, so we knew we’d get married there, we didn’t do any searching.

During the planning, the team were so helpful and attentive. Nothing was a problem, taking the stress away & making the process feel seamless – the total opposite of what we had been warned of!

The weather didn’t start out in our favour, but Ballykealey looked absolutely magical, and the incredible team made sure everything ran seamlessly. Angela and Alison, the event managers, were absolutely amazing, and Luke, the accommodation manager, went above and beyond to look after us and our guests. Even the bar staff were a great laugh and added to the fun atmosphere.

To Angela & the team thank you so so much for everything you did for us the whole day was absolutely amazing from start to finish! All the staff were so accommodating. All of our guests are still raving about the quality of the food and how it’s the best food they’ve had at a wedding.

AMAZING from start to finish. We had our full wedding celebrations at Ballykealey house last month, including ceremony and day two, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The venue, food, customer service, everything was just top class. All staff were a pleasure to deal with (to Luke and Angela, all the managers, the bar staff and night porter, Tom) and made us feel so special all weekend.

We got married in Ballykealey in April 2024 and I cannot recommend the venue and the staff enough. From the minute we first viewed it in March 2022, it just felt right, the house is obviously stunning and the staff were just so welcoming.
