Ballykealey was an absolutely incredible wedding venue, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We knew from the moment we drove through the gates for our first viewing that it was the venue for us. It is such a beautiful and special place, and one of the things we loved most was the amount of choice it offered, particularly when it came to the ceremony.
There are so many beautiful options that you can really make the day your own. From that very first viewing, we felt completely looked after. Throughout the entire planning process, there was always someone at the end of the phone whenever we had a question or needed anything, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On the wedding day itself, the team were absolutely amazing. Someone was always checking in with us, making sure everything was running smoothly and that we had everything we needed. The venue looked incredible, the food was exceptional, and the service from start to finish was faultless. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and what a beautiful and special venue Ballykealey is.
Our fabulous wedding coordinator, Richael, was an absolute dream to deal with from day one. She helped us every step of the way in planning our dream wedding and made the whole process feel so easy. We always felt like we were in safe hands with her, and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. Luke at front of house also went above and beyond for us. He was incredible on the morning of the wedding, constantly checking in on me and making sure I was okay and had everything I needed. He also helped us so much with the rooms and made sure everyone was where they needed to be, which took so much pressure off us.
Alison was also amazing on the morning of our wedding and was there whenever we needed anything. She checked in with us regularly and was more than happy to help with all the little jobs that needed to be done, which made such a difference. She was also the one who made sure I got to the altar on time! I’m so grateful for her kindness, help and reassurance that morning. Richael, Luke and Alison are just three of the staff members we worked closely with, but honestly, every single person we dealt with at Ballykealey was incredible. Everyone was so friendly, patient and professional, and you could tell that they genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible.
We are both so sad that our wedding day is over, but we will always be incredibly grateful to everyone at Ballykealey for giving us the most perfect day. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we drove through those gates for the first time to the moment our wedding day came to an end, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We genuinely cannot thank the entire team enough and would recommend Ballykealey in a heartbeat to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.
