We don’t even know where to begin with our thank you’s. Literally every single thing was perfect for our wedding, we could not have asked or wished for better.
From the very first day when Brian welcomed us and gave us our tour, we couldn’t help but fall in love with Ballykealey House, we knew it was special. The beautiful house and gardens was the perfect setting for what we were looking for. As the tour progressed, each area blew us away more and more. So much so that even though Ballykealey House was the only venue we had viewed, we knew it was for us and so we booked it that very day.
Throughout the entire wedding planning process, we felt so supported by Richael, Angela and the Wedding Team. They were so informative, organized and always great for advice. They truly went above and beyond in the lead up and on the wedding day itself.
Luke, Lakisha, Tom and the entire Reception Team were a dream to deal with. The team managed our guest accommodation seamlessly, as well as fielding many, many emails from me in the run up!
Luke, as well as Alison and the Operations Team were a brilliant support to both of us on our wedding morning. They ran our morning like it was a well oiled machine, they were so capable and competent that I trusted their judgement completely, which helped put some nerves at ease!
A special thank you to James, Wictoria and their team. The food for the entire weekend could only be described as out of this world. We knew from our meal tasting, where James was very helpful in helping us pin down our menu, that we and our guests were in for a culinary treat! We received so many compliments on the food and still are to this day. Many of us agreed that it’s the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding!
On the wedding weekend itself, we were blessed to have Wesley and Kate by our sides. They both went the extra mile in taking great care of us and kept us at ease all weekend, always making sure we had a drink in hand. We felt like they were our “right hand people”, their attention to detail was second to none – everything was handled & taken care of before we even thought of it. It was such a treat to have both Wesley and Kate by our sides, their very discreet presence helped us enjoy our wedding weekend even more knowing they would handle everything flawlessly.
And to all the staff that we didn’t have the opportunity to meet – a huge thank you too! So much work goes on behind the scenes to have such a wonderful and welcoming venue and we just wanted to acknowledge that and let you know how much we appreciate it!
We honestly could not recommend Ballykealey House enough. From the delicious food to the gorgeous house and grounds to everything in between! Our wedding surpassed all of our expectations, we could not have dreamed of anything better. All of this is made possible through the hard work and dedication of the wonderful staff here. Everyone we had the pleasure of dealing with was so supportive, helpful and kind. Your efforts to make our wedding day absolutely perfect did not go unnoticed, by ourselves or by our guests who have all been singing your praises since.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every single person who works at Ballykealey House and who helped make our wedding day the best day of our lives. You’ve given us the best memories to last a lifetime!
