What Cathy Anne & Diarmaid say, July 2026
We got married at Ballykealey House in July 2026, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more wonderful team to help us celebrate such a special occasion.
From the very beginning, everyone at Ballykealey was incredibly warm, caring and helpful. Richael was fantastic in the lead-up to the wedding, always on hand to answer our questions and help with any last-minute details, which made the whole process feel so easy and reassuring.
During our stay, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. Luke, Wesley, Bruno, Alison, Orla, Mary, Tom and everyone else we had the pleasure of meeting were so attentive and thoughtful throughout the celebrations. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt so well looked after from start to finish.
The food and service were incredible. We had so many guests comment on how delicious the food was, as well as how friendly, efficient and professional the service was. It was clear how much care and effort went into making sure everyone had such a fantastic experience.
We were incredibly lucky with the weather, but even without the sunshine, Ballykealey would have been a beautiful setting for our wedding. The house, grounds and barn created such a special atmosphere, and all the little details came together to make the celebrations feel truly magical.
We couldn’t have wished for a better wedding day. A huge thank you to everyone at Ballykealey for making it so memorable — we are incredibly grateful to you all.
We can’t wait to come back for Sunday lunch later this year and relive some of the memories! Ballykealey gets a very well-deserved 10/10 from us.
