Ballykealey had us living in our own little fairytale bubble
From the moment we said “yes” to Ballykealey, it felt like a dream come true. We didn’t just fall in love with the venue, we fell in love with the people behind it. Every meeting, every little detail, and every dinner in between gave us the chance to really get to know the incredible team, and they made the whole journey just as special as the wedding day itself.
On our wedding day, everything was seamless, calm, and magical, allowing us to simply be present and soak up every precious moment. The team made us feel like we were the only wedding there. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond—not just for us, but for every single one of our guests, from the youngest to the oldest. Everyone was treated with such genuine warmth, kindness, and care, and it meant the world to us.
A very special thank you has to go to Wesley, who was by mine and Tommy’s side throughout the entire day. He made sure we never went without a thing and was always one step ahead, quietly taking care of everything before we even had to ask. His calm, friendly, and genuinely helpful personality put us completely at ease, and he played such a big part in making our day so enjoyable. Wesley, you truly were a star, and we’ll always be grateful for everything you did for us. Even now, people are still talking about our wedding.
We constantly hear how breathtaking the venue was and how it was some of the best food they’ve ever had—not just at a wedding, but at any event.
A huge 5-star shoutout to James, the chef—you should be incredibly proud. The food was absolutely exceptional and is still one of the biggest talking points of our day .That says everything about the Ballykealey experience. Looking back, we wouldn’t change a single thing.
Ballykealey gave us so much more than a beautiful venue—they gave us an unforgettable journey from start to finish, memories we’ll treasure forever, and a day that truly exceeded every expectation. To everyone at Ballykealey, thank you for making us feel so special and for giving us the most magical day of our lives. We’ll forever be grateful.
