Ballykealey House was the only venue we went to view and it instantly captured us. As two musicians familiar with the wedding industry, the right venue was important to us and Ballykealey ticked all of those boxes. We had never attended a wedding here as guests so it felt like such a diamond find. The grounds were so beautiful, the ceremony options were incredible and the team were so warm and welcoming.

We came again to visit on a Sunday lunch to mark our one-year countdown. The team recognised we were a future couple and were so attentive, showed us around the grounds again, answered any and every question we had and shared in our excitement. That was one quality that really stood out to us – the team at Ballykealey make you and your wedding feel as special and important as any other, no matter how many are coming up.

Our wedding rehearsal dinner was a gorgeous evening and the option to stay the night was a real treat and another great marker in the countdown. Sitting with James and his team to discuss our menu, any tweaks and changes was amazing and made our menu feel unique to us. We are big foodies and we just knew our guests would love it.

We had the fantastic opportunity to come down to Ballykealey early the day before our wedding to get settled and set up with our own personal decor etc. The team made us feel so welcome and shared in our excitement. Having all of that prep done made the morning so relaxing and again – the team were so attentive, no ask too big or too small.

Our wedding day ran as seamlessly as we could have hoped. The team looked after every small detail with such grace, friendliness and good humour. We had a small shower of rain but they took it all in their stride in keeping everything running to plan. We would recommend Ballykealey House to any and every couple who are looking for more than a venue. We felt so guided and so looked after from the very beginning.
