What Ciara & Danny say, April 2026
When people ask us about Ballykealey House, the first thing we talk about isn’t the beautiful grounds or the incredible food – it’s the people.
From day one, Richeal, Angela and Luke made us feel completely at ease. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they guided us through every step with such professionalism, warmth and attention to detail that we always felt confident everything was under control.
Our wedding day was blessed with beautiful weather (Which Richael promised lol!), and having our drinks reception and speeches outdoors was one of the highlights of the day. Ballykealey’s grounds provided the perfect backdrop for our guests to relax and enjoy themselves, and the photos speak for themselves.
A very special thank you must go to Wesley. Throughout the wedding, he was a constant source of reassurance, ensuring everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes. His calm approach, attention to detail and quiet efficiency meant we never had to worry about a thing and could fully enjoy every moment of the day.
We’d also like to thank Conor and Anton in the bar, who were fantastic throughout the celebrations. They kept everything running smoothly, always friendly, attentive and welcoming to our guests, which really added to the atmosphere of the evening.
The celebrations continued on Day 2 with the BBQ, which was absolutely outstanding. It was the perfect way to round off the weekend, giving us more time with our family and friends in a relaxed setting. The food was exceptional and is still being talked about by our guests.
What made Ballykealey so special was the feeling that everyone genuinely cared. Nothing felt too much trouble, and every member of the team played a part in making our wedding weekend unforgettable.
To Richeal, Angela, Luke, Wesley, Conor, Anton and the entire Ballykealey House team, thank you for creating memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.
