What Laura & Diarmuid say, March 2026
It’s hard to put into words just how grateful we are to everyone at Ballykealey House for giving us the most incredible wedding day.
Long before we were even engaged, I came across Ballykealey House on TikTok and instantly knew that was the venue. There was just something so special about it. I fell in love with the bright, elegant dining room with its stunning window overlooking the fountain and beautiful grounds, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
When we attended the wedding showcase, every expectation was exceeded. We were welcomed so warmly by everyone we met, and it immediately felt like somewhere we wanted to celebrate one of the biggest days of our lives. The canapés were amazing, and it was such a lovely touch to meet the chef and chat about the menu. It felt so personal, and we genuinely felt that everyone cared about making our day as special as possible.
From that moment on, Angela and the entire planning team were incredible. They were always there to answer questions, offer advice and make sure every detail was exactly as we wanted it. They made the whole planning process enjoyable and completely stress-free.
Our wedding day itself couldn’t have gone more perfectly. Everything flowed so effortlessly from start to finish, and we never had to worry about a single thing. The peace of mind of knowing the Ballykealey team had every detail taken care of meant we could be completely present, soak up every moment and simply enjoy the best day of our lives. That feeling was truly priceless.
The venue is breathtaking, the surroundings are picture-perfect, the food was exceptional and received endless compliments from our guests, and every member of staff was so warm, kind and efficient. We felt so genuinely cared for throughout the entire day.
Choosing Ballykealey House was one of the best decisions we made. It wasn’t just the beautiful venue that made it so special, it was the people. Thank you to the Ballykealey team for creating memories that we will cherish forever. We would choose Ballykealey House a thousand times over.
