Now that we have had some time to reflect on our amazing wedding day on 30th December 2025, Sean & I wanted to reach out and express our sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for making our day so special.
From our very first visit to Ballykealey House back in February 2024, we knew there was something unique about the venue. The warm, homely feeling throughout the house immediately stood out to us and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. That feeling only grew stronger throughout our journey with you.
A special thank you to Angela for all of your guidance, support, and attention to detail from start to finish. Your reassurance and professionalism made the planning process so much easier, and we always felt that our wedding was in safe hands.
We also want to thank Luke and the reception team for the warm welcome and exceptional service provided to us and our guests. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and your kindness and friendliness contributed so much to the atmosphere on our visits and the wedding day.
Thank you to the chefs for the incredible food. From our menu tasting evening and overnight stay right through to the wedding day itself, the quality of the food was outstanding. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. It’s impossible to pick one dish but I must say that the duck breast starter will always be my stand out dish, spectacular!
We are also grateful to all the staff members who worked behind the scenes and throughout the day and evening and stayed right by our side. A special shout-out to Alison who stood in the driveway and stopped cars so we could get our outdoor photos at the entrance before it got too dark. Your hard work, professionalism, and genuine care ensured that everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.
Ballykealey House will always hold a special place in our hearts. The beautiful surroundings, the warmth of the house, those fabulous open fires, the amazing indoor Christmas trees and, most importantly, the wonderful people who work there that helped create memories that we will cherish forever. I have returned to Ballykealey with my wonderful Mam for Mother’s Day lunch and I cannot wait to come back again soon!
Thank you all for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be and more. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day.
