I honestly don’t know where to start. From the moment we first arrived to the moment we waved goodbye, we were made to feel like absolute royalty. We genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing — from the warm welcome, to the exceptional service, to the incredible food, and every little detail in between. Every single member of your team made us feel special, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Both our families are still talking about the staff, the seamless service, and (of course!) the food. Our meal the night before, the wedding feast itself, and the day-after breakfast were all outstanding. So many guests have told us they’ve never eaten so well at a wedding, which is a true credit to you all.
On the wedding day itself, if anything didn’t go to plan, I had no idea — which is exactly how it should be! The team looking after us were so professional, attentive, and wonderfully calm. You anticipated needs we hadn’t even thought of, and every little detail was already taken care of before we had to ask. From helping with last-minute decor touches, to ensuring every guest’s dietary requirements were discreetly and perfectly handled, to making sure we always had a drink in hand — it was flawless.
We also really appreciated all the work that went on behind the scenes before the wedding day: the quick replies to every email, the helpful suggestions when we were making decisions, and the way you made us feel so reassured throughout the planning process.
We honestly cannot recommend Ballykealey House highly enough. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, and it wouldn’t have been possible without your team’s expertise, kindness, and genuine care. Every guest felt looked after from the moment they arrived until the moment they left. Everything just flowed so effortlessly, which we know is the result of a lot of hard work from your side.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving us the most magical and memorable day of our lives. We’ll treasure the memories forever — and although our bank accounts might not allow for a full re-do, we’ll happily relive it in our minds again and again.
